Seneca
Stoic Philosopher, Writer, Speaker and Lawyer

Lucius Aneu Seneca or just Seneca was a Roman stoic philosopher who, instead of following the conventions of the empire, decided to be the voice of reason, tranquillity and common sense - a true ‘stoic coach’ before it was a profession.
Born in 4 BC in Cordoba, he had a turbulent life, which involved a good dose of power, exile and even a bit of poisoning, all while trying to maintain his practical philosophy of life in the midst of chaos.
An advisor to the emperor Nero, he probably should have adopted the mantra ‘run away from the toxic boss’, but instead he wrote essays and letters that became classics of Stoicism, teaching how to find inner peace in difficult times.
He died in 65 AD, after being forced to commit suicide by Nero - facing this with the same serenity as his philosophy, with which he faced the ups and downs of his career.
