Nir Eyal

Nir Eyal is the guy who first taught the world how to create addictive products and then came up with a manual to help us get rid of them - basically, a drug dealer turned digital therapist.

Born in Israel in 1980, he studied at Stanford and immersed himself in the world of behavioural psychology, resulting in the best-seller ‘Hooked: How to build habit-forming products and services’, which became the bible of addictive design for Silicon Valley startups.

Then, perhaps feeling a little guilty, he released ‘Indistractible’, explaining how to avoid distractions and regain control of your attention. Today, he continues to write, lecture and, ironically, keep us glued to his content - only this time, consciously.
